Walking Prague in winter

Short days, empty courtyards and mulled wine: why we keep walking all year.

Prague in January is grey, cold and wonderful. The castle courtyards are almost empty, the bridge belongs to the gulls and the cafés are warm.

We keep every walk running through the winter, a little shorter, with a stop for something hot on the way. Wear proper shoes: the cobbles can be icy, and the Old Castle Steps more so.

Our guides carry spare gloves. Ask.
