The Church of Our Lady before Týn stands behind a row of houses on the square, so its 80-metre towers seem to rise out of the roofs. It was the main church of the Hussites in the 15th century; a golden chalice once hung on its gable.
Inside lies the Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe, who worked for Rudolf II and died in Prague in 1601.
