Lennon Wall
A wall of paint and messages that has never stopped changing since the 1980s.

After John Lennon’s death in 1980, his portrait and lines from his songs appeared on this garden wall facing the French embassy. In communist Czechoslovakia that was a small act of defiance; the police painted over it, and soon there was something new.
The wall belongs to the Knights of Malta and is still painted over and over. Leaving a message is part of the visit.
